Iulian Mihaila is a Romanian Kathak and Bollywood dancer, performer, and instructor with a strong foundation in both classical Indian dance and acting. He began his Kathak training in 2019 and has been studying under Guru Pooja Pant since January 2024. In 2024, he completed a Dance Diploma in Movement and Performance at Nritya Shakti Conservatory, Mumbai. He also holds a BA (Hons) in Acting from Falmouth University, UK.
Iulian has performed internationally in productions such as Rivaayat at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, Mumbai, and Navarasa – The Chakra of Life at the Royal Opera, Mumbai, as well as presenting his own work, Kathak – Between Tradition and Modernity, at Namaste India Festival, Bucharest (2025).
An award-winning artist, he is a multiple 1st prize winner in professional Bollywood dance categories and currently teaches Bollywood and semi-classical dance in Bucharest.
