The Famous Al Tannoura Dancer Hassan BolBol at the 9th Bollywood and Multicultural Dance Festival
The insuperable dancer – member of the leading Cairo based Al-Tannoura Egyptian Heritage Dance Troupe – Hassan Bolbol, will be with us throughout the 9th Bollywood and Multicultural Dance Festival (30/6 – 2/7/2023), where he will:
- Conduct a Saidi (Egyptian Folklore Dance) workshop for the Festival participants (Saturday, 1st July 2023, 15:30 – 17:00)
- Perform in the 2 mega shows of the Festival
Specifically
Saturday (21.00) TANOURA STARATI: It is the leading traditional dance of Egypt. Its roots are lost in the depths of the 12th century A.D., intertwined with every station or milestone in the life of its inhabitants.
Sunday (21.00) SAIDI: Folklore dance that takes its name from the origin place which is El Saiid of Upper Egypt.
