South Indian street style “Kuthu” is characterized by its vibrant and high energy moves.

In this “Kuthu” dance workshop we will be experimenting with this super fun dance style that originates from the state of Tamil Nadu in Southern India. It is characterized by explosive routines accompanied by a strong percussion with the true flavor of “Tamil” culture and require you to both go down to the ground and jump up in the air!

Vinatha, dancer and choreographer from Chennai, Tamilnadu will be teaching a typical “Chennai style” Kuthu dance choreography with lots of swag, spice and raw energy. You will also be learning some famous moves from Kollywood (Tamil film industry) lead actors. Are you ready?”
